In the age of Multiplexes, advance booking comes across as a long forgotten term. However, Rohit Shetty’s “Bol Bachchan” has revived the practice. Reportedly, the film has sold out in Nagpur & has sold 70 per cent of its tickets in tier-II cities like Bhopal.
Also, multiplexes that don’t sell tickets of Friday releases before Wednesday had sold out 25 per cent of the tickets by Thursday morning. And the figure was expected to reach 60 by the evening.
Although, this is not the first time a movie has received such a response from the audience well before its release but is quite rare owing to the rise in the number of multiplexes. This response has also beaten Prabhdheva’s blockbuster hit “Rowdy Rathore”. In addition, 10-15 corporate booking were already made throughout the country by Wednesday night.
Now, that is one big reception to one of the most likely top-grosser of the year.
