There is a huge anticipation around Bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor’s touted-to-be most ambitious film ‘Heroine’s release that releases today. Kareena who recently showed the final print of the film to her elder sister Karisma revealed that at the end, Karisma was left with wet eyes. “My sister Karisma Kapoor is my biggest critic, and she couldn’t stop crying for ten minutes after watching the film. For me, that was the most special moment of my life. Her reaction to ‘Heroine’ was a huge achievement for me; and the rest of it lies on all of you, on the audience, and God,” said Kareena who also confessed that she was happy that her cousin Ranbir’s film ‘Barfi’ too got a positive review from all ends.
“The Kapoor family has always been accepted warmly. Ranbir was seen in a different role in ‘Barfi!’, and I’m extremely happy that the audience liked him. As far as ‘Heroine’ is concerned, I’ve tried to break away from the mould. This is perhaps the first time I’m trying to essay a different kind of person on screen. I hope you’ll all like it,” added Kareena.
Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, the film is up for release on Kareena’s birthday i.e September 21.
