Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s last directorial film ‘Heroine’ had heaps of expectations slung from it before its release. But after it opened up the critics and audiences slammed it for being stereotypical. Though the film managed to garner a few profits and recover the pumped in amount, the film still didn’t meet expectations on commercial and critical grounds. But film’s director Madhur is not disappointed and is ready to put the pressure behind his back and move ahead with his career. He will be next directing a film for Producer Ronnie Screwvala’s home banner.
The plot of the film is being safely guarded and will be formally announced soon. Though Madhur didn’t reveal anything over the film, he assured that this time his film won’t disappoint. “Ronnie, Siddharth Roy Kapoor and I make a formidable team.” The filmmaker adds, “We are just locking the subject. All I can say right now is that my fans won’t be disappointed with my next film,” added Madhur.
