Vidya Balan who was recently in in Dubai for the high profile premiere of her recently released film ‘Kahaani’ took out some time to interact with troubled women who took shelter in the ‘Dubai Foundation For Women And Children’ on the eve of International Women’s Day. She interacted with them listening to the women who are trying to bring their lives back on track post the trauma of their troubled relationships and human trafficking. The organization is a Dubai government-supported shelter and she was more willing to spend time with the victims there. She who herself plays an expecting mother battling several problems in her life in the film ‘Kahaani’ claimed that talking to the woman there has made her realized that there’s immense strength in woman who dare to survive the testing times of their lives. “On the eve of Women’s Day, my salute goes to these two girls I interacted with and to millions all over the world who have not let their circumstances become their biggest handicap,” added Vidya.
