July 16, 2012 - Borsalino clinched the title at the 25th edition of the Kingfisher Derby which was held at the Turf Club in Bangalore. The owner of Borsalino, S Padmanabhan and Byram N Jeejeebhoy took home a whopping Rs. 1.28 crore in prize money and also received the trophy from Samar Singh Sheikhawat, Senior Vice President of Marketing of the Vijay Mallya run Unite Breweries, and K M Srinivasa Gowda, Chairman of BTC. The event was also attended by celebs Laila Baker, Chinukala and Sofia.
