Starry Starry IPL night!!

The Indian Premier League, the largest collaboration of Cricket and Entertainment in India, kick started with lavish celebrations in Chennai on April 03 2012. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Hariharan and Leslie lewis performed at the event. Big B recited a special piece on cricket penned down by lyricist Prasoon Joshi.

Kareena Kapoor was flown in especially from Bangkok for a 10 minute performance. American Pop sensation Katy Perry too sizzled on the stage.

Salman Khan put the stage on fire with a scorching performance.

The matches begin from April 04, 2012 for the fifth season of the league that will have teams from different cities compete for the IPL T20 Cup 2012.
