The Event was the official music launch of the movie “Gangs of Wasseypur.” It was held at Band Stand & was carried out in a truly north Indian style with decorated jeeps playing the music of the film. There were “Gamchhas” distributed among everyone. Present at the event were the cast of the movie viz. Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Richa Chadda, Piyush Mishra & the director, Anurag Kashyap. The Event started off with a host wecoming everyone & Manoj Bajpayee making an entry by hopping on to a jeep & clicking photographs. The remaining cast joined him later. The jeeps, then, went for a trip around Band Stand & returned to the venue to open up the stage for a Q&A Session. During the Q&A Session the entire cast even hummed along the song “Bihar Ke Lala.”
